Jerez circuit before it did not seem to make friends with Stoner. The Australian rider had never felt the first podium since he won a career in the MotoGP class in the spring of 2006.

This victory is also not easy because Stoner had to fight the threat of Yamaha rider Jorge Lorenzo until the last lap. Lorenzo last two seasons has become king in the circuit.
For Stoner, it also became his first victory in this 2012 season. "I was having problems at the start, but the end result makes me happy," said Stoner, who is superior to 0.947 seconds from Lorenzo.
